Transparency report for the project "Julian Assange" (as of: Nov. 26th, 2024)
The Wau Holland Foundation has prepared a further transparency report for the “Julian Assange” project in the “Moral Courage” project area, which lists the donations received and the use of funds up to November 26, 2024. This report replaces the preliminary transparency report from July 2024; a final report can only be prepared once all transactions have been recorded in the standards of the fiscal book-keeping and submitted to the tax office. Resolution of the Council of Europe about the Assange case

Charitable status regained for 2020
In a letter dated 26.6.2024, the Hamburg-Nord tax office withdrew their decision to revoke the Wau-Holland Foundation's charitable status for 2020. The foundation is allowed to issue donation receipts again. Weiterlesen

Non-profit status for 2020 withdrawn by the tax office
In a letter dated February 26, 2024, the Hamburg-Nord tax office revoked the non-profit status of the Wau-Holland-Stiftung (WHS) for 2020; the WHS will appeal this decision. Until this matter has been resolved, the foundation may no longer issue receipts for incoming donations. Weiterlesen
